12.6 Indemnification
Additionally, you shall hold us blameless from any losses sustained by you or harm caused to you relating to or resulting in any way from any Third-Party Content or any contact with Third-Party Websites.
13. ADVERTISERS
13.1 Advertising and Sponsored Content
To support the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our Services, we participate in various forms of advertising and sponsored partnerships. The revenue generated from these partnerships allows us to provide much of our content and features for free. This section is designed to provide transparency about the advertising you may see on our Services and to clarify the relationship between us, our users, and our advertising partners.
13.2 Our Role as a Platform
We act as a platform or conduit that allows third-party advertisers, advertising networks, and ad-serving technology providers (“Advertisers”) to display advertisements and other promotional content in designated areas of our Services. These areas may include, but are not limited to, sidebar banners, header ads, footer ads, interstitial ads, and integrated promotional content.
It is crucial to understand that our role is limited to providing the space and technology for these advertisements to be displayed. We do not endorse, recommend, or guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or effectiveness of any products, services, or information offered by any Advertiser. The presence of an advertisement on our Services does not constitute an endorsement, sponsorship, or recommendation by us. Any relationship or transaction you enter into with an Advertiser is solely between you and that Advertiser. We are not a party to these transactions and shall not be held liable or responsible for any loss, damage, or dispute that may arise from them.
13.3 Types of Advertisements
To provide a clear understanding, the advertisements on our Services generally fall into the following categories:
- Display Advertising: These are the most common types of ads, typically appearing as graphical banners, images, or videos in various locations on our website. These ads are often served by third-party ad networks (like Google AdSense, etc.) that use automated systems to place ads based on factors such as the content of the page you are viewing, your general geographic location, and your browsing activity across the internet (as governed by your privacy settings and our Privacy Policy).
- Sponsored Content (Native Advertising): Occasionally, an Advertiser may pay us to publish a piece of content (such as an article, review, or video) that promotes their product, service, or brand. This content is designed to be relevant and interesting to our audience and to match the look and feel of our regular editorial content. In the interest of full transparency, all sponsored content will be clearly and conspicuously labeled with terms such as “Sponsored,” “Advertisement,” “Paid Promotion,” or “Presented by [Advertiser Name].” These labels will appear prominently to ensure you can distinguish between our independent editorial content and paid promotional material.
- Affiliate Links: We may participate in affiliate marketing programs. This means that if you click on a link to a third-party product or service and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission from the sale. This does not result in any additional cost to you. The inclusion of an affiliate link does not influence our editorial opinion, and we only include links to products and services that we believe may be of interest to our users.
- Promoted Listings or Posts: In some sections of our Services, such as product directories or community forums, an Advertiser may pay to have their content, product, or post displayed more prominently than others. These promoted items will also be clearly identified as “Promoted” or “Sponsored.”
13.4 Ad Targeting and Your Privacy
The advertisements you see on our Services may be tailored to your inferred interests. This targeting is based on data collected by us or by our third-party advertising partners. This data can include:
- Your interactions with our Services (e.g., pages viewed, articles read)
- Your general geographic location derived from your IP address
- Information provided by third-party data partners based on your activity on other websites and apps
The collection and use of this data for advertising purposes is governed by our Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review our Privacy Policy to understand your choices and to learn how you can manage your advertising preferences, often through your web browser settings or the privacy choices offered by our advertising partners.
13.5 Your Interactions with Advertisers
If you click on an advertisement, you will typically be redirected to the Advertiser’s website. Once you leave our Services, you are subject to the terms of service, privacy policy, and practices of the third-party website. We strongly advise you to review the policies of any website you visit.
- For Questions or Complaints: If you have a question, concern, or complaint regarding a product, service, or advertisement you have seen on our Services, you must contact the Advertiser directly. We are not responsible for resolving disputes related to their products or services.
- Reporting Malicious or Inappropriate Ads: While we strive to work with reputable Advertisers, we cannot police every ad in real-time. If you encounter an advertisement that is malicious, fraudulent, deceptive, offensive, violates our community guidelines, or otherwise inappropriate, please report it to us immediately at [report@matrixcorals.com]. Please include a screenshot of the ad and the URL of the page where you saw it, if possible. We will investigate such reports and take appropriate action, which may include removing the ad from our Services.
By using our Services, you acknowledge and agree to this section regarding advertising and understand that we are not liable for the content or practices of our Advertisers.

26. CALIFORNIA USERS AND RESIDENTS
If you are a resident of California, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) (collectively, the “California Privacy Laws”). These laws grant California residents greater transparency and control over the personal information businesses collect about them. We are committed to complying with these laws and have prepared this section to summarize your rights.
Our full data practices, including what information we collect, how we use it, and with whom we share it, are detailed in our Privacy Policy, which we encourage you to review. This section is intended to supplement our Privacy Policy by explaining the specific rights afforded to you under the California Privacy Laws.

- The Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing: You have the right to direct us not to “sell” or “share” your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not engage in these practices, but if we were to in the future, you would have the right to opt-out. You can exercise this right by:
